Prices that make sense

Travelling with kids? Good news — it doesn't have to break the bank.

• Infants (0–3 years): Travel free. No ticket needed.
• Children (4–15 years): 50% off the adult fare. That's as simple as it gets.
• Teens (16+): Full adult fare applies.

Children's discounts are applied automatically when you select the number of children during booking. Each child counts towards the cabin occupancy, so factor that in when choosing your cabin type.

The crossing is about 16–20 hours and runs overnight, so you'll want a cabin. The base fare gets you on board; the cabin is booked on top. Here's what to expect.

Standard cabin (inside)

A comfortable en-suite cabin with bunk beds or twin beds. No window, but you'll be asleep anyway. These are the most affordable option and book up fastest.

Premium cabin (outside)

Same layout as standard but with a porthole or window. Worth it if you want to watch the sea at sunset before you sleep, or catch the coastline coming in.

Club class / Commodore

On the E-Flexer vessels (Galicia, Salamanca, Santoña) you can upgrade to a premium-tier cabin with a larger bed, better linens, complimentary breakfast, and access to a private lounge. That's where the best club-class experience sits on this route.

Cabin prices vary by ship, season, and occupancy. The Cotentin — the year-round RoPax mainstay since 2023 — has its own quirks: DUX luxury mattresses, Hansgrohe bathroom fittings, and air-conditioned cabins on Decks 8–9. There are no wheelchair-accessible staterooms on the Cotentin; if that's a requirement, pick one of the E-Flexer sailings.
