E-Flexer reliability

The Salamanca is one of Brittany Ferries' E-Flexer class cruise ferries — the same generation as the Galicia and Santona. She rotates regularly on the Cherbourg–Rosslare route, offering the same high standard of on-board experience that passengers expect from the newer fleet.

The E-Flexer design puts passenger comfort front and centre. These ships were built with wider car decks, better cabin layouts, and more efficient engines than their predecessors. The result is a smoother, quieter crossing.

On the Salamanca you will find a restaurant serving hot meals throughout the crossing, along with a bar and a self-service area for lighter options. Whether you want a full dinner before turning in or a coffee in the morning as France comes into view, you are covered.

Cabins for the overnight crossing

With around 18 hours at sea, a cabin is the sensible choice. The Salamanca offers a range of options from standard inside cabins to cabins with sea views. All come with en-suite facilities, air conditioning, and enough space to feel like a proper room rather than a bunk.
